Applicants may participate in the selection process without restrictions of age or nationality:
a) those who, by the application deadline, have obtained a specialist degree (Ministerial Decree No. 509/1999) or, alternatively, a master’s degree (Ministerial Decree No. 270/2004), or a degree under the previous system, or an equivalent academic qualification, including one obtained abroad and declared equivalent or recognized as suitable for admission to PhD Programs, on the basis of the principles established by international conventions in the field;
b) those who do not meet the above requirement by the application deadline, provided that, in the event of a successful outcome of the selection process, they obtain the required qualification by the date specified in the call, failing which admission shall be revoked.
The suitability of foreign qualifications will be verified by the Examination Committee of the PhD Program, solely for the purposes of this selection, in compliance with the regulations in force in Italy and in the country where the qualification was awarded, as well as with international treaties or agreements concerning the recognition of qualifications for further studies
